10. Certification Validity and Renewal

10.1 Certificate Validity Period

FWS Certificates of Conformity are valid for the life of the certified installation unless material changes to the landscape, irrigation system, or indoor fixtures occur that changes the installation’s ability to conform to FWS requirements.

10.2 Recertification Requirements

The SJRWMD reserves the right to require re-inspection or recertification when warranted by:

• Complaint
• Regulatory change
• Surveillance findings

10.3 Material Changes

Changes that may require recertification include, but are not limited to:

• Significant alterations to the landscape design
• Modifications to the irrigation system
• Replacement of water-using fixtures or appliances that no longer meet FWS criteria
